One night gig - my birthday playlist
So I've got a birthday coming up at the end of the month. And while I'm not normally all about celebrating the occasion personally (I've always found it odd how my parents do things for me instead of the other way around, considering they gave me life), I'm hoping to ring in my 35th year of existence by gigging with someone. Anyone. As long as they can play.
So while I dust off my dexterity and try to get my chops back up to their proper shredding form, here's my tentative working setlist of what I'd like to perform:

- Metallica - Master of Puppets
- Still Got the Blues for You - Gary Moore
- Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon
- Dokken - In My Dreams
- Kiss - Hide Your Heart
- Kajagoogoo - Too Shy Shy
- Asia - Heat of the Moment
- Nelson - Only Time Will Tell
- Queensryche - Eyes of A Stranger
- Yngwie Malmsteen - You Don't Remember, I'll Never Forget
- Lynryd Skynyrd - Gimme Three Steps
I'm still fortunate to have a few cats in the music scene who call me friend, so we'll see about who's daring enough to give me a shot. I'd consider it a great birthday gift to just share the stage with talented players who enjoy this stuff as much as I do.
If you can make it out that night, do try - I may rock, I may fall flat on my face. But it'll be fun...for all of us.
